Message	I had to deal with this last fall. Ended up being the amplifier. Not sure what your car is but mine is a 1991 TT. If you can do the self diagnosis and the mode door motors dont move the amplifier can be changed without too much trouble. Or it could be the mode door motor much more difficult to change out.
