No one has ever said "Wow, this is smoother than stock", unless they were comparing it to the worn out stocker they replaced. Yes, people "feel" like it's better, and "logic" says that a lighter one-piece would be more energy efficient, but there is no data to say that it significantly better, while there are plenty of reports of problems. After all is said, it is personal preference, but buyers should know that there is a potential for vibration and the hassle of getting rid of it.
