im posting this for anybody that has been watching my posts and suffering from the same problems. since about christmas when i put a new intake on my z it had been suffering from studdering and missing, first ocasionally. and then after the ecu went out all the time when i keep it at a constant speed. first i changed the spark plugs and ecu, helped my rich running problem a little bit. then i thought it was the fuel filter. so we swapped it, no change. then i put a scan tool on it and got the cas (cam angle sensor) code. so i checked it and its completely fine. so all in all, at that point im pulling my hair out because im getting 7 miles to the gallon, and running on 3cylinders half the time....i checked fuel pressure, perfect. so my fuel delivery is fine so that only leaves compression and ignition. compression is not even a possible issue as i already did a compression check on the engine. so i just changed the sparks, so those cant be bad. finally im reverting to the coil packs. i will be doing testing today when i get home from school. hoping that this is the final solution.
