Message	had to get a wire brush and clean out all the old belt build up on the pulley for the new belt to sit into the grooves properly . with all the belts off i started the car and held the wire brush against the crank pulley as it was spinning , this only took about 10 seconds so there was no risk of damaging the engine . i havent had a problem since .
