To figure this out will take going through wiring diagrams. The dash LED is constantly being powered. Put the appropriate EGR resistor in and then re-check. Maybe the EGR T sensor is grounding out? Despite everyone's love for these old cars they are a real pain in the ass to diagnose. Like I said, the ECU codes are so coarse they're just about worthless. Do you have access to ConZult?
