| I'm so close to finally putting my engine back in...and have a few small things to tidy up...stumped on a few. I had to do a full rebuild because the prior owner starver the engine of oil...I thought this was a dented oil pan. But I was looking at pictures and the older parts the other day and realized this car has a stillen sandwich plate style oil cooler on it and there was a loop of house going from the filter tree right into the oil pan. Do you think this could have helped kill the engine by providing a pressure loss? the other problem I have is the passenger side turbo\s boost hose for the acuator is with in a 1/4 inch of the exhaust manifold. I have used silicone...but wonder if it can melt anyway. Any trick ways of dealing with this....I though about some sort of insulator tube??? Thanks for any help you can give.
