This has been a reocurring theme for my car for about 6 months now.
I've searched endlessly on multiple forums, but couldn't find what i was
looking for. Problem: I start the car, rough idle. Let it warm up, drives rough,
sounds rough, feels like a towing a trailer. It certainly sounds and feels
like i'm not getting proper fuel. Procedures: I've checked every single electrical connection that was
recommended to check while having this problem, cleaned everything.
Ran ECU codes, 55 every time. OHM checked all of my connectors, all
within spec. I replaced my spark plugs today, my 1 and 6 were
dark/crispy, still nothing. My BCSV on my Techtom is reading ON over
140 degrees, so no safety mode. One thing i did find was that when i
did the connector removal test for my injectors my 1 and 6 did not drop
the RPM. If my OHM test is within spec, but my 1 and 6 drop in the RPM test, is
that a definite answer that the injectors have failed? Also, what else
could i test before concluding that its the injectors. Thanks a lot for
your time, hope we can figure this out.
