Ran a difference in coilpacks for a while. Never noticed a difference in between spark. Of course, didn't develop a way of measuring the voltage but I suppose if you wanted to get into it you could just measure the output somehow. Anyways, as far as the issue. I would say inspect the coilpack connectors to make sure they are making appropriate contact to the coilpack itself. Also, swap out the PTU and see if you can get any difference out of it. After that, the only thing I could think to do is swap out the ecu for a known working one (if upgraded, running the same program would be ideal).
