Message Now I have done all the searches and followed all of the suggestions and I have yet to find the culprit.

Here's what I have done so far:

Tore apart the Air regulator to clean, found it junk and replaced it.

I removed and inspected the IAC valve and even swapped it out for a spare I had.

I performed a boost leak test and found a couple of intake tube leaks and repaired them.

I have tested and confirmed the Coolant Temperature Sensor is in good condition. Water temp was 108F and the sensor read 1100 ohms.

I used the Blazt cable for codes and none are present.
My timing on the data screen wont fall below 30 degrees no matter what I do. The engine idles between 2100 and 2600 rpms.

If I unplug the yellow connector on the IAC solenoid to adjust the base timing, the car idles at about 850 but wont come down to the 750. As soon as I reconnect the yellow connector, the engine shoots right back up to 2100-2600 rpms. This is telling me that the ECU is keeping the solenoid open or maybe a wire shorted to power?

I have just completed the tt swap in my 90NA. The engine, tranny, wiring harness, and ecu came out of a friends car and it ran great. I am a mechanic by trade but I am not too familiar with the Z32 tt setup. I rebuilt the NA engine I had in it before without any issues. Not sure why this issue is apparent in my car. This is the only issue I am fighting before I can finally drive the car. I am all out of ideas so any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I dont know if it matters or not but the car used to be an automatic and now it is a manual.
