Message	The alarm relay actively cuts the ignition when triggered. So if you remove the relay you remove the ability for the alarm to affect the ignition. The vast majority of alarms from this era work this way as a fail safe, so that a failed relay or blown fuse wont disable the car. check the link below if may shed some light on your issue.
