Message	it did cause an issue with the coil pack, so what -- people sell used working ones all the time for cheap. It is possible with a very old coil pack (which many of them are) that exposure to hot water over a long period of time might be an issue? I'd try drying it out really well (leave in sun a few days) and see if that fixes the problem....
