just make sure that your u-joints feel absolutely perfect before you put a new carrier bearing on a drive shaft. if they have a stiff spot or anything, the carrier bearing won't last very long. that's why i now have a 1-piece and wouldn't go any other way. because i put a new carrier in and it was worn out again in under a year because i didn't check u-joints well.
