I had the same problem, and is the reason I bought my car so cheap. The guy couldn't figure it out. So I set out to see if it was a major boost leak or the MAF sensor.I fixed all boost leaks and then bought a new MAF, the MAF sensor fixed the issue. If you have already tried known good MAF sensors, then i would next make sure the terminals on the connector going to the MAF is free of corrosion. Then check ground resistance, and resistance from MAF connector to ECU connector. But this issue is a classic MAF symptom!
