| Hi All, My 94 TT has about 68k miles on it. JWT ECU, and 14 psi boost jets (.045). (Is this boost level within the margin of safety with a JWT ECU?) Not long ago I discovered that the turbos produce a whirring/whining noise when the car is cold, driven at very low RPMs. I've found contradicting reasons for this. 1) Some say it's normal when the car's oil is still cold. and 2) The turbos have oil residue built up in the lines, restricting flow. Which is more likely? Is there an easy fix? Lots of labor? Second issue: It seems that while the car holds boost just fine at 14 PSI, once I hit about 5-6k RPMs, it feels as if the car just suddenly loses capacity to sustain torque. Noticable in 2nd and 3rd. Almost as if injectors are cutting out or something. Note: I had an injector fail not long ago, and had it replaced. Perhaps indicative that the others are likely failing or about to go as well. All comments/thoughts appreciated. Thanks!
