Message	i've sure got a better understanding of alignment procedure now! sadly my biggest question is pertaining to the specific tool that i'm using to measure. it doesn't measure at 3 and 9, it measures at 4 and 8 (in reference to a clock). so measurements will be different, and i'm just looking for an equation to compensate for the difference that this tool will cause when compared to the standard tool measuring at 3 and 9 o'clock. thanks though, and i'll definitely be referring back to this when i do the alignment after settling my confusion.
