Subject	Aftermarket Antenna Install?

Message	I just pick up this sweet little carbon fiber aftermarket antenna for my Z. I've always hated how high the mast goes up for the antenna. The CF antenna has a two way screw which is supposed to connect one to the antenna & then the other side of the screw threads into the existing base of the antenna assembly I think? My problem is I can't seem to get the old antenna out to thread this two way screw in. I there anyone out there who as done this that might be able to give me a idea of how to do this?
