Sorry, I should have included pics in my first message. In the first pic is the new base plate. If you look carefully, you can see where the screw hole snapped off. In the second pic is the new base plate, with the old tensioner arm. In both of these pics, I've numbered my guesses as to the locations of the possible failure points. (1 - the shaft that the arm sits on, 2 - the arm itself, 3 - the tensioner wheel/bearings or their mounting point in the arm) 

Basically, I just want to confirm that location 1 is not what typically fails in these units, since it's the only part that I'm using from my old tensioner assembly. Spddracer, I'm assuming you're saying that location 3 (or the wheel/bearings which are not shown) is what typically breaks? Please confirm so I can sleep better... :)
