Message	Has anyone ever taken the vehicle speed sensor out of an N.A. manual transmission, removed the red pinion gear, replaced it with a blue gear, and then had that blue gear get worn out in a few minutes so it won't work? The 2 gears are different diameter, so the meshing engagement must be very little with the blue one. This makes me think that the speed sensors for the N.A. and T.T. in the sense that the shafts are offset from the mounting surfaces.
