| So here is a rundown of the problem i've been having. My commute to work is about 30 miles. I warm up the car every morning for about 5 minutes since its about 30 degrees here in chicago when i leave in the morning. During the first 10 minutes of the drive everything is fine and the car does nothing out of the ordinary. Then about half way into my commute it almost sounds like the fan is stuck and matches the RPMs of the car. i get a large whooshing sound like the fan is going faster than normal above 2500 rpms or so and gets faster as the RPMs climb. I've heard of bad fan clutches and how it DOESNT spin as fast as normal and causes overheating issues, but this is just the opposite, its just spinning way to fast and sounds like im driving a semi truck. Any help is appreciated and due to a busy schedule i only have a few hours a week to take a look at thing. What should i be looking for?
