So i noticed my oil pressure dropping more and more till it wouldnt get pass 20 psi so i decided to rip the motor out and replace the oil pump and why not do the timing belt and tensioner as well? I finally got everything done and re-installed back in my z and know i have a very loud knock. Its coming from the oil pan and is a rod knock not a lifter tick. My question is, because it didn't have the knock before i did this service, is the reason because i improperly installed the timing belt tensioner, or do i have to replace all the rod bearings and might as well rebuild the engine? Oh and i unplugged one coil at a time to see if it was at only one cylinder, but doing that didnt change much.
