Message NP, one more thing. Tape off the balance tube hole and any holes that lead to the inside of the intake plenum in the area (like the other bolt holes if they are all the way through). The less chance you have to get shavings inside, the safer you are going to be.


I had to helicoil my starter mount bolt because the guy who owned it before me had the local Nissan dealer change the clutch and the stripped the thread. The starter broke and fell off. The repair took 30 min.

Take your time and you will eliminate a lot of problems. If you have a piece of aluminum around, practice drilling it and tapping it first. You will see how easily aluminum tears and how cleaning the tap of shavings often really helps.
