My goal is to install a secondary fuel line to run additional fuel as needed for going above the 600-650 HP limit range on my brand new stock pump. I don't like the idea of an external in line pump mounted somewhere under, or inside the car. I don't think I'll be pushing the pedal hard enough, often enough, to need duel Walbro set-up running all the time. Has anyone used an additional stock fuel pump assembly in the tank bulkhead on the passenger side of the fuel tank? I'm thinking I can find a used pump assembly, install my old stock pump, or new single Walbro, into the stock assembly and install the second assembly into the passenger side of the tank. I'd run the fuel line across the tank and down adjacent to the existing fuel lines to engine bay routed where HICAS used to be. I'd use the vent connection between the two bulkheads, plug and seal the extra return port, wire it up with a Hobbs activation switch and have additional fuel when needed. Any problems with this? I haven't found where anyone has done this and most info seems to point to the duel Walbro set-up or a second external pump. I figure if this second stock assembly will work on the passenger side, somebody must have done it and I just haven't been able to find anything on it? Any help would be appreciated!
