Message	It really isn't a tapping sound. It is just a loud intake grunt type noise. I don't remember it being so loud before. I also had the plenum off thinking my oil leak might have been a valve cover gasket so maybe a vacuum line is messed up. Does anyone have a good vacuum line diagram? :oil out of the lifters. After I did my timing belt there was lifter tick for a few minutes. This doesn't explain stalling but just know a temporary tapping sound may be normal. :
