| Hello, I am getting ready to pull the plenum on my car for injector servicing. I bought the silicon PVC hose kit from Z1 Motorsports. I noticed that each one has a metal "restrictor/support?" located halfway in the hose. Since I haven't removed the originals yet, I was wondering if the OEM hoses have these metal inserts as well? I'm not sure what their purpose is and I just wanted to make sure they are safe to install as I don't want any problems down the road. I would appreciate any advice from anyone that has experience with these. P.S. I found a link on this website to a place that sells many different sizes of silicone vacuum hose... Are there any other smaller hoses under the plenum that I may want to replace while I have the chance? TIA
