cause i tested them while off the car, im assuming thats the leak, it was really hard to be 100% sure that that was the only source, there was oil everywhere. The reason i wanted to let it idle with the covers off was to make sure that there werent any other leaks from the seals. To be clear i never had the intention of driving the car without the covers on, its mid-winter here, not a chance i can even get out the driveway lol...anyways i put the covers on right away because i was lazy and didnt feel like re-doing everything, i didnt finish it off but ill have it done by the weekend and let it idle a bit to see if i am leak free (fingers crossed) lol.
