Message There are coolant hoses that run beneeth the plenum to the throttle bodies. These are known to leak. When they do leak, the leaks are often difficult to find. I would check the faq pages about coolant hose bypass. This will give you a good idea of what you are looking for and how to resolve it. I would guess that the leak is where the hoses connect to the water pipes at the rear of the plenum. They are probably only leaking during the cool down cycle or just intermittently. This means that if it is a hose, it will soon pop. Check the FAQ and be very carefull with driving her until you find it. Your Z has aluminum cylinder heads and they are very very sensitive to being overheated. You might even consider parking her till you find the culprit. Remember that water always follows the path of least resistance, anf flows down hill. Trace the water trail and it will lead to to the problem. If you cant find a trail, then look for steam when the engine is warmed up. Hope this helps.
