Message My neighbor thinks I know more about cars than I really do, but I was hoping that someone else might have a suggestion or idea of what is wrong.

**This is not a z32**

My neighbor tells me his son's clutch is slipping. He was going to replace the clutch, but hadn't yet. Before that, he replaced the master cylinder since it was leaking near the firewall.

So, I explained to him that I didn't think his clutch would slip because of anything having to do with the reservoir. It is already engaged by default. I told him that getting the car into gear would be an issue having to do with the master or slave cylinder.

His main problem now is that when he changed the master cylinder, he isn't getting any fluid coming out of the slave when he opens the bleed port. He also made the comment that when he took the hose off the reservoir going to the master cylinder, hardly any liquid came out of the port. I suggested that his reservoir might just be clogged full of crap because it definitely should have drained out.

I know it is hard to comment on this since some info is incomplete, but what do you guys think?
