Message	deteriorated, but if not scrape away all the corrosion you can with a dental pick and miniature file. Then use a good contact cleaner and finally dielectric grease to protect the connection. This is one of the best cleaners I've found over the years and it's safe for plastic. [ http://www.mgchemicals.com/products/801b.html ]
