Subject	Oil leak causing trouble with alternator??

Message	This goes with my prior post. Im thinking that the oil leak(front engine) onto the alternator belt (slipping) hence rubber smell, is making my temp control go on and off and possibly, the slipping alt. changed the voltage so badly that increased voltage to my headlights (high and lows) and popped the bulbs. Does this sound about possible? Thanks
