Message	get it to reach far enough over the front of the car with or without the bumper. I'm not sure of the boom length when fully extended like that but it barely reaches the center of the engine when the front bumper is on. Last time I dropped my engine in I came at it from the side and then pivoted the hoist towards the front of the car.
