I'm in the process of determining that a pulley seized and stopped the car in it's tracks. I'm expecting to try and turn the crank by hand. Does PS idler pulley event cause bad engine things every time? In scanning the forum, someone talked about 9 bent valves. Maybe they meant timing belt idler tensioner I hope. Do I have to drain the radiator etc to turn the crank and work on aux belts. ( I haven't raised it up yet and only looked down with one of the air intake's removed. This is 1991 non TT) Have I missed a repair procedure for PS belt and pulleys?
