The motor was reassembled per the factory service manual. The studs were seated with lock tight in the block (2 shorties where they belong) and then torqued in the order and steps listed in the FSM.I took my LED light and examined every square inch of the cylinder walls with no visible signs of cracks, but as you said, these aren't always visible. The next thing i'm going to try is pressurizing the coolant sytem, pulling the plugs out and cranking it over to see if the cylinders are filling up with water... If there is nothing being revealed there, Would it be possible for coolant to be introduced into the oil system through a faulty turbo charger?
