Message I have GT28R s on a new rebuild that should be 500-600 RWHP. I am in break in mode so no high boosting minus once or twice days ago. I have a Profec B Boost controller. car will boost to 13/14 with controller (off) and (on). Boost controller settings low/hi have (zero) effectiveness on chnaging boost levels. I have not checked to see if new harness connections (left VTC and Det sensor) possibly got switched which would throw a Det 34 code.

The 1-2 times I did shift hard 1st-2nd the car felt like it was missing power. Boost came on quickly 0-13/14 BUT no boost after. Seemed like it was missing a lot of "seat in the pants" granted car would not boost past 13/14 psi.

Will det code (34) also "over ride" a boost controller and disable the controller to achieve higher boost levels past what stock waste gates will allow for?

Boost controller turns on but no current functions can control boost as of days ago when last checked

I guess ECU check is easiest and if I get a 55 clear code go switch out Profec B?

Can't really test on dyno yet until few more miles on set up

Boost controller was good and now is supposedly bad?

Do my issues sound more like a det sen code OR simply a bad boost controller? Could not determine after reading past tech post on the det sensor! Thanks when able.
