| Performance chips for the naive (read "suckers") I have no personal experience with this particular chip (or any ebay chip for that matter) because I wouldn't put one of these chips in the glove box, let alone my ecu !!! They "probably" won't damage your engine but I'd be VERY surprised if any of these chips come anywhere near the performance claims they state in their advertising. We did a dyno test on a few "off the shelf chips" a few years back and most of them resulted in LESS hp than Mr Nissans "ultra conservative, ultra rich" oem chip. Some of them had fattened up the midrange torque curve a bit, which "deluded" the owners into thinking they had gained horsepower. Do yourself a favour and get a custom written chip for your car. Every car is different and the only way to get the best performance out of your car is to have a chip written specifically for your car.
