Merry christmas to all.... I have a major issue with my car. I took it to a friend's garage and replaced my injectors to 615 cc. It was a fairly simple process, just time consuming. Anyway, got it all together and now it wont start. It cranks but will kill my battery in a matter of short minutes. The battery is on a charger. Anyway, so I traced my fuel lines, and I'm getting fuel all the way. My fuel pump is working great. I'm getting spark, I checked with my voltmeter and with a spark plug on a coil pack. I'm getting air to my system since all my air passages are clear. I am at a complete loss as to what the issue is. When I cleaned off my spark plugs with ether starting fluid to dry the out, it will start and run for about 3 secs..then die. so I'm getting combustion and spark and fuel. however, after only 30secs of cranking, my spark plugs get soaked with fuel. I have dumped about half a tank of fuel out my exhaust pipes trying to troubleshoot and crank my engine. I know that's very bad thing to say, but it's true. Only thing I can possibly think of that are now the issues are my ptu, but then why would it fire on ether if that were the case, or my eprom chip is bad from z1. It is my understanding that the chip will regulate how much fuel goes through the injector...so if I'm dumping so much fuel...what's the issue? I know this is really long but I've spent the last 3 days tearing my engine apart countless times and I'm at a loss now. Thanks for your help.
