mine did that and it was my PTU :i can run through the gears once and no problems. turn around and even at part throttle miss cough pop. less of a problem if i slowly get up to about 4,000 before adding boost. sometimes wont pull well at all even at 3,000.

:afm\ maf checks good per FSM - can they act up intermittently?
:i put on a spare maf - it ran worse! but it had been sitting on a shelf - maybe dusty.
:posted a few weeks ago, one idea was my plugs were gapped wrong. check them - reset to .35 - car ran great for... a few days. if it wasnt so expensive I'd bury it in the back yard.
