Hello and merry christmas to all ! My Z now sits in a thousand pieces as i clean and plan my build . My thoughts have now focused on my exhaust manifolds , injectors and turbos . my questions are 1) at what size turbos do i need to upgrade my exhaust mani's . 2) could i do a slight grind,port on my stock mani's and get by if i were running say.. hks 530 or better yet what would be the best/biggest i should run with 555 injectors and slightly ported mani's ? 3) is it not worth the trouble to port the mani's vs a cheaper reliable solution ? After the total cost of this build and body/paint im busted in the funds catagory and dont want to spend what i dont need to like $700 MS Manifolds . my thoughts were :
; port the stock manis ;keep my 555 injectors ;run hks 530 turbos or 550 / 600 turbos ?
im throwing this at yall because my last venture was dumb and expensive .... dont wanta do that again ! I am looking for a reliable turbo set up with quick spool and power with low to no modifications needed .
