Message	can be tedious done in place. I used crimp connectors then sealed connection with hi temp brush on liquid tape (better seal than heat shrink IMO) and additionally wrapped each connection with hi temp electric tape. Worked for me with no problems. Make sure you cut away any corroded wire. Use dielectric grease in conector before you plug them back together. ZUL8TR in Orlando,FL
