| The first thing you need to do is make sure the electrical is working correctly.......This is a electronic controlled trans and anything electrical can cause malfunctions and also kill the trans. The best thing to do is check the system with a Nissan Consult......If you do not have access to one you can at least check to see if the trans is being commanded by installing mini lights on the wires for the A and B shift solenoids. If your getting command for the shift and it is not shifting the problem is mechanical. If the trans is not getting the shift command your problem is in the electrical. Also when you install a new trans you always want to bypass the stock cooler as it is small and plugs easy when a trans fails. Bypassing the stock cooler should be done as preventive care on any of these cars with auto trans. Old material clogs the valve body very easy. The speed and revolution sensors control shift timing along with the TPS. Any of these sensors can cause your issue. Feel free to call with more info and I would be glad to offer more assistance.
