Message Like I already said in your other thread...

In order to bend a rod you're asking a tiny little starter motor to generate enough force to BEND a forged rod. It's not going to happen.

So even though your car was hydro-locked with gasoline, the starter motor just turns the flywheel which turns the crank until that affected hole can go up no further. And then *BANG* it stops abruptly - and additional tries to start do nothing but clickety-clickety-click. Because the little starter motor can't turn the flywheel. It's not going to generate enough power to bend a rod.

To bend rods, you need serious problems to occur inside an operating engine. Likely the problem would be happening at high RPM. Like detonation or a nitrous backfire - something that causes extreme force inside the cylinder to explode whilst the piston is coming up - driving it back down with incredible force - and the rod/crank - absorb that energy. The rod then bends. (or breaks LOL)

Unless you were actually running this car, and then it did this...instant stoppage...which I don't think you've done...then it should be OK. But starting your car in this scenario (and being able to make the video) was kind of cool to watch, but also a mistake - because the very first thing you should have done was pull the plugs...blah blah blah...
