I've been replacing the injectors in my 93 tt. Today I decided to do injector 6. Replaced the injector fine, she fired right up, drove her around for a bit, all was good. I checked under the hood to make sure gas wasn't leaking, but unfortunately it was. So I go to pop the injector back out and see why it wasn't sealing correctly but I couldn't get the fuel pressure relieve like I normally do. Took of the gas cap, disconnected the battery. Fuel was still under pressure slowly leaking out the sides. I started to wiggle it a bit trying to relieve what pressure it had left I fuel was going all over the place. I spent 45 minutes trying to figure out why, but upon one of my wiggles the injector popped out and sprayed fuel everywhere for a second and then the pressure was gone. Found out the o ring got pinched. Replaced everything, put it all back together, went to start it, it turned over a 2-3 times and then made a loud, violent noise like I just stalled it and died. Didn't sound like a backfire. So I've tried turning the car on and off several times trying to prime the fuel pump (thinking maybe air in the fuel line?). Didn't work. Then I tried starting the car up with the coil pack connector to that cylinder disconnect, thinking it was flooded, still got the same thing. Turned over a few times then died, pretty violently like it was stalling. I would think if a cylinder was flooded by disconnecting the coil pack connector it would at least start. Any idea? Sorry for the lengthy post I wanted to include as much detail and history as I could.
