Message The Question: Can a bad woodruff key on the Underdrive Pulley (NOT The crank pulley, that one is fine) Cause your car to run like crap. It runs, but when I step on it, feels like it has no power. Also, can the timing belt being off a single tooth cause it to run like this?

The Story: Did the full 120k mile maint and installed a UD Pulley. After getting it all back together car just felt like it had no power. Sounded just fine but ran like a NA car or something.

Thought maybe the Woodruff key in the crank pulley was messed up, OR my timing belt was off a tooth. I'm in the middle of re-doing my timing belt, just curious if the slipping UD pulley could be the culprit. From what I understand though, it shouldn't effect performance outside of AC/Engine Cooling/Power Steering.
:If i'm missing something please let me know. Any advice is much appreciated.

PS. When the car was running like crap, it was giving me no Codes from the ECU, but I wasn't sure how to check timing since the UD pulley has to timing marks on it...
