time on my NA. Over the course of the last year I've replaced all the PCV hoses (didn't help), cleaned and lubed the entire idle air ass'y, replaced the AAC valve with a spare one, and manually verified proper function of the EGR system. I've been pretty stumped, however reading a post the other day made me realize that I had never synched/balanced the throttle bodies. If the left TB is open slightly more than the right, the total air being metered wouldn't be split up equally between the banks. I'd think the balance tube should compensate for this, but it's the only thing I haven't checked. I completely disassembled my throttle bodies to powdercoat them, so it's very possible that my guestimate of the throttle stop settings could be off a bit. Checking the TB balance is on my to-do list this week, however I'll be watching this thread closely to see what other possibilities are brought up.
