Message	If it isn't tight but you can tighten it by turning it "too far", a better suggestion than the semi-permanent loctite is to simply drop a small balled up piece of fabric into the shift knob so that it'll get tight "sooner" and face the right way. If you can't tighten it at all, that's a completely different problem. If it's spinning freely you either have no threads on the shifter or the knob or you have the wrong size knob.
