Message suggest you try a different brand. I have tried several brands of synthetic trying to resolve shift issues and bearing noise. They are: Amsoil Series 2000 75w 90 Gear Oil, Valvoline 75w 90, Mobile 1 75w 90, Redline MT90 and Royal Purple Max Gear 75w 90. For my tranny the Purple worked the best with improved shifting shifting and quite operation and it is a recommended lube for synchromesh trannies that specify a GL4 lube. Don't confuse this Royal purple lube with Royal Purple Synchromax which is a gear lube replacement for manual trannies which the factory specifies that Automatic Trans fluid be used.
