Message	have a signal only for it to program its self. The only thing I can think of is plug it in and see if it works grounding the black and green and powering the red. I would imagine it would work because you are simply tricking the boost signal. The only thing I can think of is hit SZ, IPP, or someone up and see if they have any advice I am sure they have seen these and delt with them. Sorry I cant be more help man if no one can help you out then I would do as Tim said and just go for a newer one seeing as how you may have lost a connector as you stated.
