In Reply To Can I eliminate the steering hard lines without removing... posted by OriginalGate21 on September 20, 2008 at 10:13 PM

Message I did this a couple years back and now have the N/A toe control arms and have yet to install them. So I'm still driving around with a welded rear steering rack.

As for the leaky hoses, the cheap way is to take the pump out and remove the blades from the impeller in rear section of the pump, then cut the hardline off the Hicas banjo fitting and weld (or bring it so someone to weld) that hole shut. Then you can rip all the Hicas hoses off the car and drive off with no worries, and no more Hicas.

Last dyno w/sport 600's

Now GT2860RS will dyno soon, pulls like a banchee!
