| My Z has a bad idle issue on cold starts. What I mean by cold starts is that the motor has not been on in more than 4 hours. Once the motor warms, the problem for the most part is relieved. When I start it, if I dont feather the throttle and keep the RPMs up, the motor but engine RPMs will drop down and kill it out. I have to warm it like this for 90 seconds and once done, usually good to go. If I dont warm it enough, the first time I push the clutch and the RPMs drop, many times it will once again kill the motor. One other item I have noticed and this is all the time. But when I have the A/C on, when driving hard on the highway, it a stomp the clutch shifting gears but wait long enough, it had died on the highway doing this. I pop the clutch but this is troubling. I along with a few people around here have guessed that it might be the idle air valve. But that part if like $175 so I wanted to see if any other Z guys have had similar issues and what they did to solve it. Thanks ahead of time for your help.
