i just pulled out a differential off 1990 nissan 300zx non turbo 5 speed ,everything seemed works great once on the car but i realized when i tried to turn the axle flanges they are locked cant move them in any direction ,but they move frelly once i move the driveshaft end and turn it just a bit then i can move then any way i want until i wont stop for a second if i stop it locks again
i dont think its normal ,what if i want to move car in neutral it wont let me untill i the driveshaft moves a little to unlock it ?? anyway to fix it ? are they made that way ?
