I didn't know what "lateral runout" was so I looked it up. Anyway, since that has to do with wobble in a tire as it rotates, I don't think that is the problem. I only really notice the vibration when I am idle at a stop. Unlike when I had the stock driveshaft and the center bearing was bad I could feel intense vibration when driving. I havn't replaced the tranny rear isolator mount so I will take a look into that. I have a converted 2+2 TT (thus still NA rear end) so I guess I have 4 positions. In these different positions, what I am looking for exactly? I guess my question would be is there any way to know which is the ideal position without having to install, drive, and then repeat with the other 3 positions and just try to determine which promoted the least vibration.
